Ok, so it’s not really a continuation of my work here, but me and a friend have started a new community (read: forum) about Anastacia. It’s not just a forum, it’s also a site where I will be posting whatever news and media I find. Kinda like this site, but different. I would be honored to welcome all of my loyal visitors to my new hangout,Anastacia Network.
I’m done with the site. It was fun while it lasted.
I’ve been doing this for over 8 years and the passion is gone. I can’t be bothered to update anymore.

Anastacia was interviewed for ‘Fabulous’ magazine, a free magazine that comes with the Saturday edition of the News of the World in the UK. In it, Anastacia ’speaks for the first time about her marriage to her minder - and she reveals why she lied about her age for 10 years’. Or so the headline reads. In fact, she doesn’t reveal why she lied about her age at all. So, I will. Back when Anastacia was still an unknown, unsigned artist, her then manager Lisa Braudé, thought it’d be necessary to make her five years younger in order to get signed. Smart move, because if they hadn’t, she wouldn’t have gotten onto MTV’s ‘The Cut’ (as per their rules), and probably wouldn’t have had a record deal today.

I Can Feel You had it’s world premiere on Radio2 in the UK on August 21. A radio rip appeared online soon after, and since then the CD rip has also leaked. Several people uploaded the full song to, amongst others, YouTube, so if you wish to hear the song, head over there. An official preview can be found here. My first reaction was ‘ehm… ok’, but once you listen to it a few more times, it starts making more and more sense and grows on you quite a bit. Anastacia definitely turned over a new page music wise. Most fans were expecting a new sprocky sound album, but when looked at objectively, wasn’t it more realistic that she’d try something new? After all, none of the three previous albums sounded the same, and neither did the new songs that appeared on the greatest hits collection. Lyrics can be found in the lyrics section.
I updated the videography with some new screen captures of Sick and Tired, Heavy on My Heart, Pieces of a Dream, Everything Burns and I Belong to You.
